Hall A and E are pretty easy to navigate, not many guards patrol and there are many walls to cover yourself. The map layout is simple, a lobby with a stationary guard in the middle, some guards from A-E might wander over here but you can just use statues to cover yourself. This is the thing I usually do: you don't even have to take cameras. So 99% of players just restart level in this situation - game isn't designed for players to be good both in stealth and loud. You can't survive in stealth build after alert. This is stealth build for level 63 - P.P.P.S. Sot it's 20 minutes of waiting and 5 minutes of moving loot) You wait until guard move into convenient position to slip past him.
One minute is enough to run with one painting. Upgraded ECM lasts for 30 seconds, at 25 seconds drop painting and use second ECM (you will see that your used blue ECM started flicking). 8, In case of emergency, then you already stole 3 paintings and need one last - you don't shoot guard that spotted you. One last pager can be keep for emergency situation.
Using this tactic you can safely kill two guards in toilet, then kill one that stay in lobby - and map will be more free for you to go. If you crouch under it - he will turn on, and nearby guard will go into toilet to investigate. At Art Gallery he will scout roof and toilet, so be careful).
(In all Elephant heists after killing 4-rd guard new one will be dispatched. Remember that you can kill up to 4 guards and answer their pagers. Need to practice and look youtube videos to learn this technique. But it's tricky - you need to jump and throw at top moment. In Art Gallery you can throw paining to roof from rooms via small side windows. You will see them for 10+ seconds, and you will see where they going even after you loose line of sight with them. So if you see 3 guards in other rooms - that means there's 2 guards that you should care.Īlways highlight guards that you see. If you have skill Spotter Aced in MasterMind tree - you will be able to put spycams, that will highlight guards for you.
Use only one mod that lower concealment - Silencer on your pistol. So equip weapons that have high concealment stats. With Detection level 3 you will be almost invisible to guards. And I'm using hitman perk deck (still at 5/9). (Mostly in a non-planned, "what's looks good now that I've these points to spend" way). I notice they will go for the security before anything, but don't know how they get the card, or open the room so fast to not get caught there.Įdit: Maybe I should mention that I've developed skills mostly on ghost/fugitive trees. I stayed for a few tries, but someone always get caught (I believe only once I was the one caught) and the host restarts. I tried joining a public room once, they were doing overkill. It gets tense running around with paintings without getting caught by the cameras and wandering guards. I may be doing something wrong, so I figured I could ask.ĭespite not having finished it yet, I enjoyed a lot. On another try I would try to open the security door, but the drill will eventually alert a guard. But it's hard to that several times without getting caught. I took all the paintings, started taking them towards the front exit. The random big covered structure was on A, I would hide bags/paintings there. So I took the paintings from E to the roof. In this instance, there was laser between halls E and D. I've noticed that sometimes there are laser sensors. Start taking the paintings 1 at a time, and bring the to the roof through the external stairs (the first time I'd go and throw the close to the escape van, but after I had got 4 of them, the police came, and they will move them). That's what I've been trying: Go on the roof explore as much as I can, sometimes I'll even make myself a map of all visible paintings, cameras and security room.
Do you have any tips for how to do this successfully? I figured I could practice stealth on day 1 (on FF, I got to day 3 with the minimun of 4 paintings, and that's when I see more would be better), that's available as the Art Gallery job. I eventually gave up after several tries. And can't hold the police long enough for the computer hack once going loud (maybe because I was not properly equipped, as that's not the plan). Tried Framing Frame, but couldn't pass Day 3 on stealth mode.
So, I started to explore other maps, alone. I'm at level 63, but I realized most of my playtime has either been repetitive play on maps I know well (art gallery, bank heists, nightclub, go bank) or following more experienced friends on 'unknown' maps. So, I've been into PD2 for a short while.
